About Mark

Please feel free to read Client and Colleague Testimonials

His clinical-therapeutic foundation combines western evidence-based science and eastern ‘time-tested’ humanistic philosophy.  He's been described as a strong intuitive-empathic male, who favors effective, reality based, self-empowering techniques.  His interests include cognitive-neurocounseling, trauma, dyadic value systems, and experiential mindfulness practice.

Fluent in English and proficient in conversational Spanish, he enjoys working with people of all ages, genders, and culturally diverse populations.

His clinical experience includes working at Denver based Jefferson Center for Mental Health, Sandstone Care, and Goodis-Baker Counseling.  These environments provided extensive experience in community mental health and private practice, focusing on crisis/suicide, addictions, and individual/group therapy.  Combining his counseling credentials with his many years’ experience in the corporate world; Mark is also an effective life coach.

Outside of the office, Mark enjoys hiking and fly-fishing - both of which he has done throughout the world.  Also, he is an avid XC skier, climber, and enjoys archery.
